Forged Forms shipping, freight and delay notice
The final quote specifies the seller/manufacturer, destination, supported shipment or delivery commitment, shipping method, disclosed price, and any customs/importer responsibilities. A sea-freight selection in the estimator is a proposed service preference; booking, route and timing require confirmation. Production time, dispatch time and transit time are different. A displayed estimate is not a confirmed delivery promise.
For covered US merchandise orders, the seller must have a reasonable basis for the advertised shipment time and follow applicable delay, consent, cancellation and refund requirements. When an applicable shipment promise cannot be met, the seller provides the required notice, proposed revised date and consent/cancellation choices; silence does not authorize every later delay. Where consent is required and not obtained, cancellation and a timely required refund follow. An internal progress change or provider message does not replace that process.
